National Data Center Project Management Lead

Job Summary
This role is responsible for the creation, adoption, and execution of Data Center Project Management's Americas business program and strategy for both Markets and Work Dynamics. The individual will provide subject matter expertise to develop and lead a strong Americas Data Center Practice, leveraging the overall strengths of JLL's Global Project Development Services (PDS) group to solve for the complex challenges in delivering colocation and hyperscale data center facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for Data Center Project Management in the Americas region.
- Lead a team of Data Center project managers to deliver high-profile projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide subject matter expertise to develop and lead a strong Americas Data Center Practice, leveraging the overall strengths of JLL's Global Project Development Services (PDS) group.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Manage and mitigate risks associated with data center projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve project delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to ensure they are meeting their goals and objectives.
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to ensure financial performance and profitability.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure JLL remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, construction management, or business administration.
- 10-15 years of experience in data center project management, with a proven track record of delivering high-profile projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with data center projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and revenue.
- Ability to travel as needed, with a valid passport and ability to obtain necessary visas.
