- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in banking or the financial services industry.
- Strong working knowledge of the Project Management function, with a minimum of 2 years explicit governance, process, or project controls experience.
- Possess a technical degree or a demonstrated technical aptitude, including the ability to quickly gain expertise on new systems and lead others through technology transitions.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Adapts well to a fast-paced and changing environment, and able to prioritize work responsibilities and workload as priorities shift.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both written and oral. Ability to communicate complicated matters in a simple, structured way to leadership.
- Ability to influence key stakeholders through information that is articulated clearly and backed by data.
- Detail oriented and highly organized.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to apply logical solutions to business problems.
- Ability to positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization.
- Maintains a strong working knowledge of bank operations, systems, products, processes, and controls.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Planview project management software experience is a plus.
- Professional certification preferred (e.g. PMP or Prince2).
- College degree required.
