Job Description

Marvin Love and Associates is seeking a visionary Director of Sales and Marketing to lead the sales efforts for one of Marriott's premium properties. As a key leadership role, you will oversee the entire sales team and drive business growth by developing and implementing innovative sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the hotel's sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to maximize exposure and drive demand across all market segments.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, and travel partners.
  • Oversee all aspects of the sales and marketing budget, including forecasting and revenue projections.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and client feedback to continuously improve sales efforts.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of sales and marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role at a luxury hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of Marriott systems, brand standards, and revenue management practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive growth in corporate, group, and leisure markets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality; advanced degree preferred.
