About the Role:

The Strategic Insights Leader will be responsible for monitoring macro forces & trends impacting consumer mindset and behavior, identifying which ones matter most, and helping to translate that into what it means for Retail and Target. This role will require leveraging secondary research, as well as designing and executing guest or consumer research to support key initiatives. The ideal candidate will be the primary contact for internal partners and will identify the appropriate research method, data source and vendor/supplier to execute work.

About You:

  • 6 years of Insights or complementary experience such as research vendors/suppliers, tech firms, Bachelor's programs, Insights and/or sales, media strategy, analytical experience, advertising or media agencies, stores or other team members, CPG companies, other retail companies, travel/hospitality, financial services companies.
  • Highly curious and asks questions to seek clarity.
  • Comfortable working with data.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively across teams and levels.
  • Credible cross-functional partner.
  • Has strong business acumen.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
