As a Senior Category Manager for Strategic Sourcing, you will be responsible for managing multiple categories of spend with the goal of optimizing the total cost of ownership and increasing total value and business outcome. This position requires the development of category and sourcing strategies, sourcing execution, negotiations, contracting activities, and relationship management across a subset of Marketing sub-categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic end-to-end management of owned spend categories aimed at achieving optimal value out of our marketing investment
- Business stakeholder relationship management and alignment with the purpose of category optimization/initiative roadmaps
- Strategic and commercial supplier relationship management necessary to advance vision of the Business and Procurement
- Effective execution of appropriate tactics to advance objectives established for the owned categories
- Subject matter expert for area of responsibility and associated processes and practices within Procurement
- Leading and developing direct reports, as well as ability to get the work done through others
Requirements
- 6 or more years of experience in strategic sourcing, advertising agency, marketing agency or related role
- 3 or more years of leadership experience with direct or indirect reports
- 3 or more years of experience collaborating with and influencing business stakeholders
