Job Summary:

The HR Director will drive strategic and operational excellence in human resources, supporting business leaders at Tilcon Connecticut, a CRH Company. This role reports directly to the OpCo President and collaborates with the Division VP Human Resources and HR Leads across the Northeast Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead human resources operations, including employee relations, employment law, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  • Partner with management to develop and implement HR strategies in support of business goals and objectives.
  • Build and enhance relationships with non-union and unionized employees, promoting a positive safety culture and engaging employees towards organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand organization goals and strategies relating to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Lead and manage the OpCo HR Team, driving results and continuous improvement in all aspects of human resources.

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Bachelor's/University Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • PHR or CP certification desired.
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
