We are currently searching for an HR Manager for a Humanitarian Nonprofit. The position requires in-person work on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the flexibility to work remotely for an additional 4 hours outside of those office days.

SCHEDULE: 20/Hrs Per Week
DURATION: Temporary (On-going)
HOURLY RATE: $28.00-$34.00/hr
Is This Your Dream Job? As the HR Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the organization's HR strategy, fostering employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will manage recruitment, performance appraisals, and compensation, while supporting the growth and development of the HR team to align with business goals.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
- HR certification is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance.
- Strong experience in employee relations, recruitment, talent management, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with professionalism and discretion.
- Develop and implement HR strategies in coordination with the Executive Director.
- Oversee recruitment, from job postings to onboarding, ensuring a seamless hiring process.
- Manage employee relations, handling conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, managing reports and legal submissions.
- Lead compensation and benefits administration, including salary reviews and employee rewards programs.
- Identify training needs and create development programs to enhance employee performance.
- Oversee performance appraisals, offering guidance to supervisors and employees.
- Support and guide the HR and Office Coordinator to ensure organizational growth.
- Collaborate with leadership on staffing, budgeting, and strategic HR initiatives.
