Job Description

Regional Sales Manager for Electronic Security Sales Team

The ideal candidate can be located anywhere within our footprint in the Upper Midwest region, with travel to most branch offices required on a regular basis.

You will work closely with the Director of Sales and other sales leaders to meet and exceed sales and profit goals. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, family-owned company with a strong reputation for excellence.

This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading Sales Teams:
    • Overseeing a team of sales leaders, ensuring productivity and effectiveness
    • Meet and exceed sales and profit goals
    • Managing accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting
  • Working with the Director of Sales:
    • Set quarterly and annual sales goals, and sales objectives
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales and profit targets
  • Maintain budgeted sales staffing levels. Develop bench strength to fill open positions as they happen
  • Analyzing Market Trends:
    • Analyze business and sales trends to suggest approaches to meet sales targets
    • Implement strategies to improve performance
  • Building Customer Relationships:
    • Maintain relationships with important clients
  • Collaborating with Other Departments:
    • Work with other teams such as operations and support staff, ensuring quality sold jobs meeting company profitability expectations
  • Training Sales Staff:
    • Provide training to increase their individual sales
  • Presenting New Products and Services:
    • Educate sales teams on new or upcoming products and services
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of successful field sales experience and 3 years of sales management
  • Proven track record as a sales leader achieving sales quotas and building high-performing teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in sales management tools and software
  • Ability to travel within the territory
