The ideal candidate can be located anywhere within our footprint in the Upper Midwest region, with travel to most branch offices required on a regular basis.
You will work closely with the Director of Sales and other sales leaders to meet and exceed sales and profit goals. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, family-owned company with a strong reputation for excellence.
This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leading Sales Teams:
- Overseeing a team of sales leaders, ensuring productivity and effectiveness
- Meet and exceed sales and profit goals
- Managing accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting
- Working with the Director of Sales:
- Set quarterly and annual sales goals, and sales objectives
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales and profit targets
- Maintain budgeted sales staffing levels. Develop bench strength to fill open positions as they happen
- Analyzing Market Trends:
- Analyze business and sales trends to suggest approaches to meet sales targets
- Implement strategies to improve performance
- Building Customer Relationships:
- Maintain relationships with important clients
- Collaborating with Other Departments:
- Work with other teams such as operations and support staff, ensuring quality sold jobs meeting company profitability expectations
- Training Sales Staff:
- Provide training to increase their individual sales
- Presenting New Products and Services:
- Educate sales teams on new or upcoming products and services
- Minimum 3 years of successful field sales experience and 3 years of sales management
- Proven track record as a sales leader achieving sales quotas and building high-performing teams
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in sales management tools and software
- Ability to travel within the territory
