Ace Hardware Home Services is the most trusted provider of home preservation services in America, offering a wide range of residential maintenance and home repair services including plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical, handyman, and painting.

As Marketing Operations Director, you will oversee the strategy, execution, and operationalizing of all marketing efforts and develop local marketing plans for each of the Home Services Verticals. Your role will be critical in driving growth and success of our Home Service brand, ensuring we deliver innovative and effective local marketing campaigns that drive demand, grow sales, and increase awareness.

You will collaborate with other Home Service business stakeholders to achieve local marketing goals for Ace Hardware Home Services. Your thought-leadership will be crucial as we integrate Unique businesses into Ace Hardware Home Service business unit. Your insight on local marketing needs of respective business partners and how and when we integrate branding will be instrumental work within the first 24-months, as well as building foundation and operating rhythm for local marketing execution within Ace Hardware Home Services.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and minimum 7 years of experience in marketing or service industry, with experience in franchise or multi-unit retail marketing preferred. You should have strong leadership skills to motivate and manage a team of marketing professionals. Excellent communication skills are required, both verbal and written, with ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels of organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plan customized to Ace Home Services verticals (plumbing, electrical, heating & cooling)
  • Lead development and implementation of introducing Ace Hardware brand across newly acquired businesses within 24-months
  • Work with Director of Digital Marketing and Ryno agency to spend annual digital investments effectively
  • Manage vendor relationships and develop co-op programs for local marketing efforts
  • Maintain compliance across all marketing channels, including truck-wraps, Google profiles, digital, and print tactics
  • Create local marketing creative assets, such as sales builder pro assets, lead aggregators, billboards, and stickers
  • Lead budget development process for VP of Marketing
