Job Overview:

This role is integral in supporting the Marketing Leadership with the planning, development, and management of all marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all relevant Tribal, Federal, and gaming regulations, as well as Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by actively listening and addressing guest and team member inquiries and concerns.
  • Coordinate promotional activities and exclusive events.
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors and various casino departments, including external marketing agencies.
  • Oversee promotion/event advertising in collaboration with contracted marketing agencies.
  • Represent the casino at events, trade shows, meetings, and conventions.
  • Manage all facets of promotions and event execution.
  • Ensure all promotions receive approval from the gaming commission.
  • Verify the functionality of the PA system prior to any promotion/event.
  • Contribute to the development of new exclusive event presentations and special promotions for management approval.
  • Oversee all casino signage in partnership with contracted marketing agencies and the Marketing Specialist (Media).
  • Exemplify and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.
  • Safeguard confidential information entrusted to this position.
  • Complete all required training as assigned.
  • Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31 regulations, and IRS Currency Transaction Reports, as well as established Anti-Money Laundering policies. Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR, and SAR as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of guest service experience in a dynamic casino environment is required.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a guest-facing marketing role is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
Additional Criteria:

Preference is given to qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native Americans.

  • Aptitude for problem-solving, data collection, and fact establishment.
  • Ability to comprehend complex instructions and materials.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining professional relationships with individuals from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals while demonstrating leadership and team-building skills with empathy and enthusiasm.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality.
  • Adherence to established Casino guest service programs is required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, and bend for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to concentrate for extended periods.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Must possess the dexterity to operate a keyboard, touch-screen display, telephone, and calculator.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
Work Environment:
  • Typical office setting and casino floor.
  • Frequent walking and standing in a smoke-filled environment with regular public interaction.
  • Temperature-controlled environment with varying noise levels; may experience high noise levels throughout the day.
  • Extended hours and irregular shifts may be necessary, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to perform under pressure and work long hours in stressful conditions.
  • May encounter risks associated with resolving issues with difficult guests and irate staff members.
  • Exposure to various lighting types, including artificial fluorescent lights and flashing lights.
  • Travel may be required to fulfill essential functions of this position.
Employment Conditions:

Must be able to obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including successful completion of a background check necessary for licensing. It is the responsibility of the employee to keep all documents current and valid at all times.
  • Must provide authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to and from work is required.
  • Compliance with KLEC handbook, internal policies, and gaming regulations is mandatory.
