Job Overview:

This role is pivotal in supporting the Marketing Leadership team in the planning, execution, and management of diverse marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all relevant Tribal, Federal, and gaming regulations, as well as Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
  • Uphold exemplary guest service standards by attentively addressing guest and team member inquiries and concerns.
  • Oversee the organization of promotions and exclusive events.
  • Facilitate communication with vendors and various casino departments, including contracted marketing firms.
  • Manage promotion/event advertising in collaboration with contracted marketing agencies.
  • Represent the casino at events, trade shows, meetings, and conventions.
  • Coordinate all facets of promotions and event production.
  • Ensure all promotions receive approval from the gaming commission.
  • Verify the functionality of the PA system prior to any promotion/event.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative event presentations and special promotions for management approval.
  • Oversee all casino signage in partnership with contracted marketing agencies and the Marketing Specialist (Media).
  • Exemplify and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive information entrusted to this position.
  • Complete all mandatory training as assigned.
  • Monitor adherence to Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31 mandates, and IRS Currency Transaction Reports, along with established Anti-Money Laundering policies. Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR, and SAR documentation as necessary.
  • The responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive but represent a general overview of the duties associated with this position. Responsibilities may evolve based on organizational needs or directives from the Director.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least three (3) years of guest service experience in a dynamic casino environment is essential.
  • A minimum of two (2) years in a guest-facing marketing role is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is advantageous.
Additional Criteria:

Preference is given to qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native American candidates.

Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, and bend for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to concentrate for prolonged periods.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are necessary for operating a keyboard, touch-screen display, telephone, and calculator.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
Work Environment:
  • Normal office setting and casino floor.
  • Frequent walking and standing in a smoke-filled environment with regular interaction with the public.
  • Temperature-controlled environment with varying noise levels; exposure to high noise levels may occur.
  • Extended hours and irregular shifts may be necessary, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and work long hours in stressful conditions is essential.
  • May encounter challenging situations with difficult guests and upset staff members.
  • Exposure to various lighting types, including artificial fluorescent lights, flashing lights, and strobe lights.
  • Travel may be required to fulfill one or more essential functions of this position.
Employment Conditions:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including a successful background check. Responsible for keeping all documents current and valid at all times.
  • Must provide authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation to commute to and from work is required.
  • Compliance with KLEC handbook, internal policies, and gaming regulations is mandatory.
