Job Summary

This HR Administrative Assistant role is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Tailored Brands Inc. As a key member of the HR department, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the team. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and guiding visitors, managing the doorbell system, and responding to incoming calls. You will also be responsible for processing employee data, tracking leave paperwork, and monitoring and mailing out required paperwork for employees who experience a separation from the company. Additionally, you will partner with the HR Manager and HR Generalist to support projects and initiatives within the department. If you have 1+ years of administrative experience, are bi-lingual (English and Spanish), and possess strong written and verbal communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and guide all visitors and employees.
  • Manage the doorbell system and let visitors in.
  • Respond to incoming calls from internal and external clients.
  • Process employee data and payroll change notices.
  • Track leave paperwork and confirm hours and years of employment for FMLA.
  • Monitor and mail out required paperwork for employees who experience a separation from the company.
  • Partner with the HR Manager and HR Generalist to support projects and initiatives within the department.
  • Respond to unemployment claims as needed.
  • Assign and track reserved parking spaces.
  • Coding absences in Leadtec.
  • Assist with onboarding of new hires.

Requirements
  • 1+ years of administrative experience (preferably in an HR department or high-paced environment).
  • Bi-lingual speaker (English and Spanish).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and keep a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Customer service-oriented.
  • Overtime may be necessary during peak periods.
  • Must be detailed and deadline-oriented.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to learn other related tasks.
  • Must have the ability and desire to perform in a team environment.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily.
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination, and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.
