Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Senior Business Optimization Manager to join our team at Truist. This is a key role within the Cybersecurity Office of the CISO, responsible for managing the Operational Optimization Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Operational Optimization Program, aligning the organization's vision, mission, and goals with its actions and outcomes.
  • Design and implement optimization roadmaps supporting the overall CCS strategy.
  • Contribute to a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to increase trust and communication, leading to optimal productivity of the program.
  • Provide consultation and partnership with process solutioning, monitoring the implementation of solutions and tracking maturity realized through optimization.
  • Identify, analyze, and evaluate existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities, develop strategies, and implement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
  • Responsible for connectivity between stakeholders in the transition from ideation to solutioning to execution of organizational optimization.
  • Lead complex and visible projects with moderate to high risk and complexity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and eight years of experience in systems engineering or administration or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Deep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge in applied enterprise information security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network operating systems, identity management, database activity monitoring, encryption, content filtering, and Mainframe security.
  • Previous experience in leading complex IT projects.
