Position Overview

GE Renewable Energy Power and Aviation is in search of experienced Pilot in Command candidates for HA-420 and EMB-550 aircraft operations. This role involves managing Part 91 operations, ensuring compliance with FAA and international aviation regulations, and adhering to our established standard operating procedures. Our pilots typically engage in domestic flights, with occasional trips to Canada and Mexico, and the majority of operations occur during weekdays, minimizing weekend travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers aboard.
  • Conduct flights in a professional and secure manner, in line with company policies and federal aviation regulations.
  • Oversee the maintenance status of aircraft and collaborate with maintenance teams.
  • Manage trip and flight planning in coordination with dispatch and crew members.
  • Evaluate weather conditions and operational requirements for each flight.
  • Engage with passengers professionally to guarantee their safety and comfort.
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the Flight Operations Team.
  • Exhibit humility, transparency, and focus in all actions.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in the aviation sector.
  • Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate is required.
  • Must reside within a reasonable distance from the operational base or be willing to relocate.
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory; sponsorship for employment visas is not available for this position.
  • Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Attributes:
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in all aspects of their role.
  • Familiarity with Safety Management System (SMS) concepts and related software.
  • A total flight time of 4,000 hours is preferred.
  • At least 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command in turbine aircraft.
  • Experience with HA-420 and/or EMB-550 aircraft is advantageous.
  • Proactive, self-motivated individual with exceptional communication skills.
  • Innovative thinker with a results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong collaboration skills across various organizational levels.
