Position Summary:


The Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) team is in search of a Technical Lead to engage in development initiatives across various Salesforce platforms.


Key Responsibilities:


The successful candidate will:

  • Independently design and conduct unit testing of components while collaborating with Dev/QA teams to address code and configuration-related issues.
  • Lead a development team, offering guidance and mentorship as required.
  • Direct the development team in researching and documenting findings on new Salesforce functionalities or reviewing existing platform-related challenges.
  • Facilitate Proof of Concepts with architects to assess and document new designs, integrations, patterns, and methodologies.

Core Duties:


Provide leadership and exhibit expertise in fundamental Salesforce capabilities, including: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), flows, triggers, complex formulas, workflows, and security protocols.

Engage in agile methodologies and ceremonies through scrum team planning sessions, user story refinement, daily status updates, and code reviews while providing leadership to team members.

Contribute to enhancements in DevOps processes, including pipelines, monitoring, and test automation.

Possess an understanding of enterprise cross-system integration concepts, such as event processing and API interactions.

Conduct evaluations of products/solutions, including Salesforce capabilities and third-party vendor offerings, by creating prototypes/Proof of Concepts to clarify and design towards business objectives.

Design, document, and develop best practices and development patterns for the COE technical delivery organization.

Mentor technical delivery personnel.


Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

A minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible technical and business experience in developing enterprise-level applications, including full-stack development experience.

At least 2-3 years in a scrum team environment.

Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written) are critical for the success of this role.

Knowledge of SFDC Data Model across various clouds/products and robust data modeling experience.

Expertise in branching/code merging practices in GIT (or equivalent) repositories.


Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce Certifications such as, but not limited to: Administrator, Platform Developer (1 and 2), Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant.

Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is highly preferred.

Experience in evaluating, deploying, and upgrading Salesforce managed packages is highly preferred.

Familiarity with Salesforce CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, etc.) is a plus.

Experience with other Salesforce products like MuleSoft and Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be advantageous.
