Lead Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

Vertex Solutions Inc. is in search of a proficient CrowdStrike Subject Matter Expert with a robust background in Endpoint Security and familiarity with SentinelOne to join our innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and oversee a variety of security solutions across multiple domains, including Endpoint Security, Application Security, Cloud Security, Network Security, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of existing security measures and propose enhancements to optimize the security landscape.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of security product offerings and provide insights based on previous experiences.
  • Formulate, test, and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure adherence to organizational standards, industry benchmarks, and regulatory mandates.
  • Adjust, configure, and enhance security tools to counteract emerging threats and lead initiatives aimed at refining existing processes.
  • Develop user-centric solutions that promote efficiency and compatibility with existing tools and workflows.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate security solutions into current infrastructures.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience and skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of diverse security technologies, including antivirus, EDR/XDR, DLP, application whitelisting, privilege management, endpoint encryption, web application firewalls, and vulnerability management.
  • Advanced expertise with leading security management platforms and deployment tools such as Tanium, InTune, and SCCM.
  • Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions within enterprise environments as a project lead or subject matter expert.
  • Strong grasp of data flow from detection and prevention tools to SIEM, and how incident response teams utilize this data.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, Mitre Attack and Defend).
  • In-depth understanding of network security concepts and technologies, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Solid knowledge of operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, MacOS, and various Linux distributions.
  • Experience with cloud-based security solutions and public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) for the automation and customization of security solutions.
