Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Coronado Internal Medicine. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room patients, take vital signs, and obtain brief medical histories
  • Perform blood draws and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
  • Clean and disinfect examination rooms between patients
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
  • Scan documents into our electronic medical record system
  • Update patient records for annual physicals and other medical procedures
Requirements
  • MA certification from an accredited program
  • At least 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant
  • Front office experience and administrative skills a plus
