Job Title: Recovery Support Specialist

At Hillcrest Children and Family Center, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) program, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals enrolled in our program to achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of clients' needs, goals, and progress, and help facilitate the development and updating of individualized treatment and recovery plans based on the AOT requirements.
  • Guide clients through symptom management, coping strategies, and medication adherence to ensure compliance with the AOT court-ordered treatment plan.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support when needed, particularly in situations where clients may be at risk of hospitalization or other adverse outcomes.
  • Assist clients in adhering to their treatment plans, including attending appointments, participating in therapy, and following medication schedules.
  • Document all interactions and services provided to clients in alignment with AOT program guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and forensic mental health principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
