Key Responsibilities:- Manage employee relations issues, providing conflict resolution and guidance to employees and management.
- Handle workers' compensation claims and coordinate with relevant authorities or third-party administrators.
- Facilitate leave of absence (LOA) processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Support recruitment efforts by collaborating with department heads to identify staffing needs and assisting with onboarding new employees.
- Maintain HR records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives enhancing workplace culture.
- Conduct employee training sessions and workshops as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with employment laws and legislation affecting the organization.
- High School Diploma required.
- Must be willing to come onsite 23 times per month and for emergencies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in HR software and tools, specifically in payroll systems such as Paycor.
- Knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Experience handling employee relations and resolving conflicts.
- Familiarity with payroll and benefits administration.
- Experience with leave of absence processes and workers' compensation.
