  • Handle workers' compensation claims and coordinate with relevant authorities or third-party administrators.
  • Facilitate leave of absence (LOA) processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Support recruitment efforts by collaborating with department heads to identify staffing needs and assisting with onboarding new employees.
  • Maintain HR records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives enhancing workplace culture.
  • Conduct employee training sessions and workshops as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with employment laws and legislation affecting the organization.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Must be willing to come onsite 23 times per month and for emergencies.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in HR software and tools, specifically in payroll systems such as Paycor.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation.
Desired Experience:
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Experience handling employee relations and resolving conflicts.
  • Familiarity with payroll and benefits administration.
  • Experience with leave of absence processes and workers' compensation.
