We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Vice President to join our Personal Lines team at Marsh & McLennan Companies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, selling new lines of coverage, and managing a team of support staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality service to clients, including selling new lines of coverage and cross-selling within the existing book of business.
- Manage a team of support staff responsible for processing transactions of an assigned book of business.
- Be the main point of contact between the insurance company and clients, providing daily guidance and oversight to the team.
- Stay up-to-date with new products and services available to suit the needs of each client.
- Develop and track annual business goals to increase sales and maximize retention of book value.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong follow-up skills.
- Results-oriented.
- Sound problem-solving skills.
- Consistent exercise of good judgment.
- Sense of urgency and time management.
- High integrity and work ethics.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- College degree preferred (high school diploma required).
- Current California Department of Insurance License.
- 15 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with utilizing agency management system, Applied EPIC, preferred.
