Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor-Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Westlake Services. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality control, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Oversight: Develop and implement production schedules, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed to meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, develop and implement solutions, and measure the impact of changes.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor production staff, provide coaching and training, and foster a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensure accurate tracking and reporting, and implement just-in-time inventory management practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve production-related issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams to find solutions, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on production supervision and quality control.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in SAP and other manufacturing software.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to handle and manipulate objects. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards.
