As a Maintenance Laborer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our asphalt plant, performing a variety of laboring duties and assisting in plant maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a wide range of laboring duties within an asphalt plant, including assisting in plant maintenance and compiling reports on production and maintenance.
  • Operate in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all company policies and government regulations.
  • Report any accidents or incidents promptly to the supervisor and conduct daily post-inspections.
  • Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently and cover vacations in different tasks when required.
  • Be open to potential night work and flexibility to work nights and weekends as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in basic mechanical maintenance and demonstrated good performance, safety, and attendance.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with MSHA, OSHA, and all other company policies or government state rules and regulations.
  • Safe and professional operation of equipment and willingness to work and communicate effectively with supervisors, truck drivers, and fellow employees.
  • Valid driver's license and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
