Position Summary:

The Folding Carton Gluer Specialist is responsible for the setup and maintenance of gluing equipment to produce high-quality folding cartons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and productivity protocols.
  • Accurately document machine operations, including production reports and quality checks.
  • Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency.
  • Operate glue monitoring systems effectively.
  • Prepare and maintain the gluing equipment in line with customer specifications and standard operating procedures.
  • Load appropriate materials and verify label accuracy prior to production.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status.
Required Skills:
  • Ability to interpret safety and operational documents.
  • Basic arithmetic skills for production calculations.
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in preventative maintenance.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry materials as required.
Preferred Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous operation of high-speed equipment.
  • Familiarity with specific gluing machinery.
