Position Summary: As a Service Consultant, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with their automotive service needs. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate, document, and schedule necessary maintenance and repair services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers and technicians to determine required vehicle maintenance.
  • Provide expert advice on essential and recommended services to enhance vehicle performance.
  • Propose additional services and repairs tailored to customer needs.
  • Calculate costs for replacement parts and labor to meet customer specifications.
  • Prepare detailed estimates for mechanical, electrical, or other repairs.
  • Communicate estimates clearly to customers and address any questions.
  • Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to optimize service operations.
  • Ensure compliance with dealership standards for repair quality and productivity.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction as per company benchmarks.
  • Keep a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Accurately record work hours in the company timekeeping system.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; further education in relevant fields is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in automotive or customer service roles is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational abilities.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with vehicle mechanical operations.
  • Licenses: Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Computer Proficiency: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and dealership management systems.
