Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the coordination of services in compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the admission, planning, and discharge processes for children and youth, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Engage with professional staff and community partners to ensure the effective delivery of services as per the individualized service plan.
  • Maintain regular communication post-placement to confirm that appropriate services are being rendered.
  • Document all interactions and services provided, adhering to licensing standards and organizational policies.
  • Participate in case meetings and maintain comprehensive client records.
  • Foster strong relationships with regulatory bodies and service providers to enhance collaboration.
  • Assist with intake and placement processes, including transportation as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required: An Associate's degree in Child Welfare or a related field, accompanied by two years of relevant experience, or equivalent educational qualifications combined with experience.

Preferred: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Child Welfare or a related discipline.

Certifications:

  • Possession of a valid Texas Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Ability to engage physically with children, including mobility and stamina for extended periods.
  • Capability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments and emotional situations.

Work Environment

  • Full-time position with potential for additional hours as needed.
  • Work settings may vary, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
