Cedarhurst of Wichita, a dedicated provider in the healthcare sector, is seeking a service-oriented and career-focused individual to take on the role of Concierge. In this position, you will have the opportunity to engage with residents and make a meaningful difference in their daily lives.

As a Concierge, your responsibilities will include delivering tailored assistance and exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and visitors, while also supporting administrative functions as needed.

Your contributions as a Concierge will include:

  • Greeting residents, visitors, and guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing outstanding service.
  • Overseeing the community's entry and exit points, managing guest sign-ins, and upholding safety protocols.
  • Regularly interacting with residents to ensure they feel valued and cared for.
  • Handling the receipt and distribution of mail and packages.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing calls, relaying messages, and directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assisting management with clerical and administrative tasks, as well as supporting the Sales & Marketing team with inquiries.
  • Helping residents arrange personal transportation and make reservations for community events in collaboration with the Life Enrichment Director.
  • Facilitating the sale of guest meals and processing credit card transactions as necessary.
  • Submitting maintenance requests on behalf of residents.
  • Monitoring emergency response systems and fire alarm panels.
  • Ensuring effective communication between community staff and residents' families regarding care and wellbeing.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and taking direction from management while demonstrating initiative in conflict resolution.
  • Maintaining flexibility to work weekends as required.
  • Meeting the physical demands of the role, which may include standing, moving, communicating, and lifting up to 50 pounds independently, or up to 200 pounds with assistance.
  • Performing additional job-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications for the Concierge role include:

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in customer service, particularly in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or similar environments is advantageous.
  • CPR or BLS certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Internet browsers, Microsoft Office applications, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and any relevant HR systems is essential.
