Cedarhurst of Wichita, a dedicated healthcare provider for older adults, is in search of a committed and service-oriented individual to fill the role of Concierge. This position is pivotal in enhancing the daily experiences of our residents.

As a Concierge, you will have the chance to connect with residents and make a meaningful difference in their lives. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering exceptional customer service and personalized assistance to residents, staff, and visitors, while also supporting administrative tasks as needed.

Your contributions as a Concierge will include:

  • Greeting residents, visitors, and guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing outstanding assistance.
  • Overseeing the community's entry and exit points, managing guest sign-ins, and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Engaging regularly with residents to foster a sense of value and care.
  • Handling the receipt and distribution of mail and packages.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing calls, relaying messages, and directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assisting the Executive Director and Business Office Manager with administrative tasks, and supporting the Sales & Marketing team with inquiries as necessary.
  • Helping residents arrange personal transportation and make reservations for community events in collaboration with the Life Enrichment Director.
  • Facilitating the sale of guest meals and processing credit card transactions as required.
  • Submitting maintenance requests on behalf of residents.
  • Monitoring emergency response systems and fire alarm panels.
  • Ensuring effective communication between community staff and residents' families regarding care and wellbeing.
  • Collaborating with team members and following management direction, while also demonstrating initiative in conflict resolution.
  • Exhibiting flexibility and the ability to work weekends when necessary.
  • Meeting the physical demands of the role, which may include standing, moving, and lifting up to 50 pounds independently, and up to 200 pounds with assistance.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management.

To qualify for the Concierge position, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in customer service, ideally within a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environment.
  • CPR or BLS certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in internet browsers (e.g., Explorer, Chrome, Firefox), Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Publisher), and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
