Job Title: Clinical Access Coordinator

At University Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Access Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for interviewing patients to obtain accurate and complete demographic and insurance information, ensuring timely and correct billing for services rendered.

The ideal candidate will have high school graduation or equivalent, with post-high school coursework preferred. Six months of experience in a hospital/physician setting, obtaining insurance benefits and pre-certification, is also desired. Prior collection experience and billing knowledge are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collect patient demographic and insurance information
• Verify patient identity and eligibility for services
• Communicate with privately paying patients about service charges and payment arrangements
• Collect copays, coinsurance, and other monies owed by patients
• Gather appropriate forms for admission as required by Medicare, Medicaid, insurance companies, and other agencies

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
