Associate Contracts Manager

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Associate Contracts Manager to join our AWS Infrastructure Legal team. As a key team member, you will support the rapidly growing Amazon Web Services business, providing expertise in contract management, negotiation, and drafting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, draft, and negotiate various Amazon contracts, including general contractor and engineering/design vendor main services agreements, work orders, amendments, NDAs, and others.
  • Provide day-to-day advice to business clients on projects, negotiations, vendor management, and internal and external communications.
  • Drive legal and business-facing process improvements, including simplification measures to eliminate repetitive, low spend, or low risk work.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of contracts management, leading or supporting contract negotiations, and drafting contracts, or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department.
  • Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating legal terms.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • In-house legal experience a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to invent, simplify, and improve legal and contracting processes.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $112,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
