Key Responsibilities- Represent the voice of the customer and bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
- Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain-aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
- Lead technical pre-sales conversations with AWS customers, helping them define cloud operating models that leverage AWS services and align to AWS operational and security best practices.
- Act as a thought leader, sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
- Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best-in-class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
- Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide, creating field enablement materials for the broader SA population.
As a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, AWS Managed Services, you will be part of the Worldwide Specialist Team, leading the global GTM plan for AWS Managed Services (AMS). AMS is a service that helps customers adopt AWS at scale and operate more efficiently and securely, using AWS services.
You will partner with technical and business teams across AWS, bringing the voice of the customer into our product development roadmap. The WW team sees the big picture and sets the plan so the world's most customer-obsessed technical teams can make history.
Requirements- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
- 7+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
- 2+ years of technical experience in cloud operations, cloud governance, or managed services.
- History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
- AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
- Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
- Computer Science/Relevant degree and/or experience highly desired.
