Our software ensures that all AWS systems meet AWS' quality bar and are operating as expected in our data centers.

We are responsible for vetting AWS cloud at a scale larger and more complex than anywhere else on the planet.

Our services are core to how cloud capacity is provisioned, managed and used by AWS. AWS Vetting is innovating new systems and extending its services to new frontiers. Our teams are architecting, building and operating scalable services that are at the core of AWS infrastructure.

You will be the key leader responsible for delivering the distributed software systems and results that will ensure that AWS customers get healthy servers and services.

Responsibilities include collecting business and systems requirements from across AWS, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing production launches.

You will be expected to drive consistency in solutions across multiple AWS teams while incrementally streamlining the process in order to speed up delivery.

What's the challenge:
Our space is fast-moving, and has a large number of ambiguous and difficult challenges.

Our projects require deep technical and software expertise and the ability to work within a fast moving, startup environment in a large company.

You will be responsible for identifying solutions, trying ideas, will be given space to fail and to iterate to produce products that your customers love.

Who would succeed in this role?

The right candidate will possess a strong technical program management background that's heavily focused on influencing product design decisions and excels at identifying technical and process patterns that to make things simpler and more consistent for both AWS internal customers and for Vetting teams.

You understand what it takes to operate at scale and help the organization scale.

You will help define and own the execution of high-visibility software, you will build and implement a strategy to meet critical Amazon business and security needs, and you will provide regular updates to senior Amazon leaders.

This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you'll work with thought leaders in multiple technology areas.

You'll have high standards for yourself and everyone you work with, and you'll be constantly looking for ways to improve your product's performance, quality, and end-user experience.
