Position Overview:

At Leaders Furniture, we are committed to enhancing the joy of Florida living. As one of the largest family-owned casual furniture retailers in North America, we operate 19 retail showrooms across Florida.

We take pride in offering competitively priced, high-quality casual furnishings, complemented by exceptional customer service. Our reputation speaks for itself, being recognized as a leader in the furniture industry.

We are currently seeking a Sales Professional who thrives in a supportive sales atmosphere within our Saint Petersburg showroom.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly base salary along with a generous tiered commission structure.
  • Enhanced hourly base pay during an extensive 14-week training program.
  • Opportunities for increased earnings through designer and contract sales.
  • Work-life balance with a standard 40-hour work week; Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM.
  • Generous paid time off with no blackout periods.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company matching up to 30%.

What We Require:

  • Proven experience in earning a commission-based income.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays (with closures on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter).
  • Willingness to travel to the Distribution Center for quarterly training sessions and meetings.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs as part of a team.
  • Capability to learn and utilize our point-of-sale software effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
