At Midas FORD, we are committed to delivering top-notch services for customer vehicles, focusing on inspection, diagnosis, and repair, leveraging the expertise gained through ASE Certifications and extensive automotive repair experience.
We are seeking an Automotive Service Adviser to oversee and manage all customer-facing service activities within our retail location. This role involves engaging with customers, scheduling appointments, providing updates, and processing transactions. Following a training period, you will be responsible for advising on tires, automotive parts, and mechanical services. This position has the potential to evolve into a Service Manager developmental role if desired. Midas FORD is dedicated to training our team members and promoting from within. Pay incentives and bonuses are available after the completion of training, typically within three months. Benefits will also be available after this period.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service while actively listening and consulting with clients.
- Follow up with customers regarding requested services, estimated completion times, and other inquiries.
- Supervise comprehensive vehicle inspections and make informed recommendations, including creating computerized repair orders and sourcing necessary parts.
- Discuss pricing estimates with customers and promote service specials offered by the shop.
- Align with the company’s vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed.
- Collaborate with a team of up to ten employees.
- Oversee technicians in the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of domestic, European, and Asian vehicles and light trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts.
