Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Ross Stores. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales floor operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms, adhering to company standards and best practices.
  • Sales Floor Operations: Assist with receiving and processing merchandise, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and supporting the sales floor team in meeting sales goals and objectives.
  • Loss Prevention: Understand and adhere to company loss prevention policies and procedures, including identifying and reporting any potential security risks or incidents.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and contribute to a positive and inclusive store culture.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate records, follow company policies and procedures, and ensure a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently around the store.
