About the Role

The Property Management Lead is a key member of the Target team, responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our stores. This role requires a strong understanding of property assets and the ability to manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and efficient completion of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and prioritize daily work orders for the store, utilizing technology to optimize efficiency
  • Evaluate store brand and ensure assets and vendor performance meet maintenance standards
  • Maintain and repair assets, performing proactive asset upkeep as assigned by headquarters
  • Perform reactive repairs requested by store teams, ensuring internal and external work orders are completed and vendors are accountable
  • Execute special projects, remodels, and support PM asset or service strategies in partnership with store team
  • Assist in managing emergency situations as needed, in partnership with store and field leaders
  • Follow safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic technical skills and general experience working with property assets required
  • 1-2 years of technical education preferred in areas such as electrical, mechanical, carpentry, HVAC, or plumbing
  • Proficiency in operating power tools, HVAC, wet/dry and litter vacuum, and other power equipment
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
  • Work independently and as part of a team, managing workload and prioritizing tasks independently
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude, effective communication skills, and ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
