About This Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the Target team as a Property Management Lead. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of store facilities, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with store teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and develop solutions to address them.
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA and EPA guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with store teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide training and guidance to store team members on maintenance procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and develop plans to address them.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and vendor performance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education or experience in facilities maintenance preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
