Role Summary:
The Senior Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role within the Cell Therapy Development Operations & Services Portfolio Management Office. This individual will oversee the strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of project subteams, ensuring alignment with the organization’s objectives and commitments. The projects will be technically oriented, focusing on Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) support and sub-team oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and synchronize CMC sub-teams to guarantee alignment with overarching project objectives and timelines. Act as the primary liaison for subteam management, fostering clear communication and collaboration among all involved parties.
  • Collaborate with project, functional, and work stream leaders to effectively achieve project goals.
  • Utilize project management expertise across multiple concurrent project subteams.
  • Develop and sustain comprehensive CMC project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and timeline management. Provide robust leadership to ensure projects are executed on schedule and within budget.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring all milestones are achieved and any deviations are promptly addressed. Identify and mitigate issues and risks.
  • Facilitate all project team meetings and participate in related discussions to ensure alignment.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to manage project deliverables, including CMO's and Supply Chain partners.
  • Communicate project status updates to organizational leadership.
  • Evaluate project outcomes through regular after-action reviews.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management and CMC support, demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in a dynamic environment.

Required Competencies:

  • 5+ years of experience in biotech/life sciences project management; experience in cell therapy is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM or Life Sciences-related field.
  • Project management certification is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools such as MS Project, Office Timeline Pro, Smartsheet, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, SharePoint, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of the biopharma industry, with familiarity in end-to-end CMC drug development.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with matrixed teams while maintaining strong business partner relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and executive presence; ability to positively influence project outcomes.
  • Expertise in conflict resolution.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to adapt and respond to the needs of a dynamic work environment.
