About the Role

The WorkPlace is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Employer Engagement Specialist to join our team. As an Employer Engagement Specialist, you will play a critical role in connecting job seekers with employers, fostering strong relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to engage with local employers, identify their hiring needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at midsize businesses, including C-level executives, business owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct sales meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business opportunities and expand existing partnerships.
  • Utilize sales systems, including KEAP, to manage daily activities, track progress, and analyze results.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve sales strategies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college.
  • 3-5 years of professional work experience in talent sourcing, workforce development programming, HR, or sales.
  • Strong understanding of business databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and online tools, such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build a book of business, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven dedication to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
