Responsibilities:

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist addresses the essential facilities needs component of our programs. This role is responsible for completing preventative maintenance and repairs for all facilities, as well as reporting any health and safety compliance requirements of the facility that need to be addressed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities maintenance plan to ensure the upkeep of all facilities.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and to Newport Healthcare standards.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with contractors and vendors.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Two plus years' experience in facilities maintenance preferred. Salary range for this position is $23.00 per hour based on education and experience.
