Job Overview

The Accounting Manager will oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting activities of the company. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and mentor a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Analyze financial data and variances to provide actionable insights.
Team Management
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Assign and review tasks to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
Accounting Operations
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
Compliance and Controls
  • Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare for and manage audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Process Improvement
  • Identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Stay current with industry trends and changes in regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting software (NetSuite preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
