Position Overview:
The Clinical Support Specialist is tasked with the essential role of educating and assisting users of our innovative products.
This involves instructing and guiding users on the proper utilization of our offerings to ensure safe and effective application—crucial for the preservation of organs prior to transplantation, as well as for various clinical and research initiatives.
The Clinical Support Specialist will engage in global travel, predominantly across North America, visiting premier transplantation surgery facilities.This position requires flexibility to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and extended days, reflecting the unpredictable nature of organ donation and transplantation.

Responsibilities may encompass the following and additional tasks may be assigned:
Provide training and support to organ retrieval and transplant teams.
Generally available on-call 24/7 for approximately 15 days each month (including holidays and weekends) for both remote and onsite assistance.
Coordinate Site Initiation & Refresher Visits, training sessions (both in-person and virtual), and centralized training events.
Maintain effective and timely communication with transplant teams, internal management, and colleagues.
Develop and document case study reviews with guidance from senior staff.
When not on call, assist managers, directors, and other internal personnel with various assignments, either remotely or onsite.
May engage in research and development activities in laboratory environments under management supervision.
Collaborate with liver transplant teams to gather data on livers that are perfused and preserved, contributing to a comprehensive database of product performance and usage.
Ensure compliance with vendor credentialing requirements and successfully pass routine background checks and drug screenings.Participate in local, regional, national, and international meetings and conferences, either in person or virtually.
Foster and maintain positive working relationships with end users at all levels.
Perform administrative tasks related to expenses, communication, and other relevant activities.
Ensure a thorough understanding of all applicable quality policies and systems.
Adhere to all work and quality procedures to guarantee compliance with quality systems and high-quality output.
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Clinical Support.
Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in conjunction with relevant medical experience, with a minimum of 3 years in ICU, ECMO, Cath Lab, OR, Transplant, or ED settings.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Possession of a licensed RN, RT, RD, or a degree in a health science-related field.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
