Clinical Specialist, Sales

Cook Medical LLC is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to provide clinical support for our extensive medical device product lines. As a key member of our sales team, you will interact with physicians, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals to educate and update them on our products and services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a clinical environment, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for providing clinical support during procedures, identifying and establishing relationships with key decision-makers, and maintaining knowledge of our product lines and clinical procedures.
As a Clinical Specialist, you will work closely with our sales team to meet or exceed projected sales goals and support the annual business plan. You will also be responsible for completing expense reports, call reports, and other administrative documentation as required.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 3 years of experience in a clinical environment, and Microsoft Office proficiency. You must also have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work in collaborative and independent work situations, and have effective oral and written communication skills.
Travel will be required, up to 70%, and you must be physically capable of operating a motor vehicle on a regular basis. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for clinical support, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
- Provide clinical support during procedures
- Identify, establish, support and develop relationships with key clinical and non-clinical decision-makers
- Educate and update customers through in-servicing training, literature, videos and articles
- Provide clinical experience to the Sales force, Product Development, Marketing, Quality Assurance and other internal groups
- Maintain knowledge of SBU product lines, clinical procedures, business ethics and other educational requirements
- Support the annual business plan to help the sales team meet or exceed projected sales goals
- Complete expense reports, call reports and other administrative documentation as required
- Maintain frequent communication with Regional Manager and other support functions
- Maintain accurate and timely reports and records
- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization to achieve company goals
- Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
- Must have effective oral and written communications throughout various levels of the global organization
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
