Position Title: Project Manager


Role Overview:
EMCOR Government Services is on the lookout for a Project Manager to oversee operations in a critical setting.


*** Note: This role is subject to contract award. ***


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for the site, available around the clock, responsible for overseeing work performance and addressing contractual matters.
  • Manage preventive maintenance and repair operations for essential electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Direct site activities, including work schedules and subcontractor management, ensuring adherence to service expectations, objectives, and safety standards.
  • Supervise project staffing, conduct performance reviews, and handle disciplinary actions.
  • Engage regularly with the Site Facility Manager and clients to review operations, performance metrics, project progress, schedules, and financials.
  • Prepare and present status updates and performance assessments.
  • Coordinate with facility management to plan activities that may impact site operations, including maintenance outage requests.
  • Oversee project tasks related to equipment and system repairs and replacements, ensuring compliance with schedule, budget, and scope specifications.
  • Maintain configuration management documentation for mechanical systems as necessary.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to implement adjustments to site infrastructure for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) applications.


Qualifications:

  • Must hold a TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, architectural design, or business from an accredited institution.
  • At least 12 years of experience in management roles with similar responsibilities; 8 years of relevant engineering or business experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required; Proven capabilities in cost control, budgeting, planning, estimating, procurement, scheduling, change management, and leadership.
  • Experience managing personnel, with strong oral and written communication skills; Familiarity with labor unions and service employees under the Service Contract Act is advantageous.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of facilities maintenance and operations, particularly in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and data center management.
