Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design projects and coordinate among various project design disciplines
  • Oversee office operations and facilities, ensuring optimal staffing levels and resource utilization
  • Maintain a balance between project demands and staff development opportunities
  • Supervise and mentor junior-level design staff
  • Perform project management duties, including proposal preparation and client relationship management
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to grow the practice, expanding the client base, and entering new markets
  • Maintain outstanding client satisfaction and relationships
  • Participate in local professional affiliations and encourage team members to engage

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering
  • MS PE required (or ability to obtain)
  • At least 15 years of experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final design and plan production, with familiarity with Mississippi DOT details and production
  • Prior management experience of a group or department
