Salary:

$65,000 - $85,000 per year

Job Description:

The Veterans Support Coordinator will be responsible for conducting regular assessments of tenants, developing individualized service plans, and monitoring progress in achieving goals. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with persons experiencing homelessness, physical and/or mental disabilities, and/or active substance use.

  • Develops and maintains resident case files in compliance with funding requirements and program guidelines.
  • Creates visually appealing monthly calendars and newsletters of activities.
  • Provides transportation planning for off-site services and events.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent organization skills, initiative, and follow through.
  • Proficient in basic office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet use).

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 2-3 years of experience working with non-profit social services agencies.
  • Possess a valid California Driver's License, reliable transportation, current vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and the ability to be insured by New Directions.
