Job Summary

New Directions for Veterans is a rapidly growing organization dedicated to improving the lives of veterans. We are seeking a Homeless Support Coordinator to join our team and support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support services to homeless veterans, including intake and assessment, case management, and advocacy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to ensure access to essential resources.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, making adjustments to service plans as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client data and outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in social services or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by the organization.
  • Ability to pass a background screen and drug test.
  • Annual tuberculosis test.
  • Flexible work schedule.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
