To achieve our strategic hiring objectives, we are in search of an experienced Executive Recruiting Researcher to become a vital member of our agile and high-performing team.

As a Senior Executive Recruiting Researcher at Socotra, Inc., you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing our executive recruitment strategy, aimed at assembling a world-class leadership team. Your responsibilities will include spearheading efforts to identify and engage top-tier executive candidates who possess the requisite skills, experience, and leadership qualities essential for our organization’s advancement. You will represent Socotra, Inc. as a brand ambassador, often being the initial point of contact for prospective candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate Identification and Engagement:

  • Conduct thorough talent and market analysis for open Executive-level roles.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including deep web exploration, industry networking events, and executive connections, to identify and engage senior-level candidates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-caliber, passive candidates through tailored outreach and communication.
  • Encourage connections with underrepresented candidates through personalized engagement strategies.

Collaboration with Recruiters:

  • Work closely with the executive recruiting team to align strategies.
  • Mentor and support junior sourcing team members across the Talent Acquisition organization, offering coaching in executive search methodologies.

Candidate Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Perform initial assessments of candidates, evaluating qualifications, motivations, and cultural alignment.
  • Prepare comprehensive and insightful written evaluations for Hiring Leaders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Executive Hiring Leaders, providing detailed candidate profiles and recommendations during weekly meetings.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze and report on key metrics related to executive candidate pipelines and sourcing effectiveness.
  • Offer data-driven insights to refine sourcing strategies, particularly concerning underrepresented candidates.

Strategic Talent Mapping & Market Intelligence:

  • Lead strategic talent mapping initiatives to forecast future talent requirements.
  • Examine market trends, competitor activities, and industry dynamics to inform executive recruitment strategies.

Thought Leadership:

  • Stay updated on executive recruiting trends and share insights within the organization.
  • Contribute to the formulation of innovative executive talent acquisition strategies.
  • Participate in executive recruiting projects such as succession planning and market research.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in executive-level recruitment research, demonstrating a successful track record in sourcing senior executives.
  • In-depth knowledge of executive search methodologies, market intelligence, and sourcing techniques.
  • Exceptional skills in utilizing advanced tools and techniques for talent identification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging and influencing senior-level candidates.
  • Experience in executive-facing presentations and communications.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership over the candidate pipeline.
  • Creative problem solver, particularly adept at navigating ambiguous challenges.
  • Passionate about research and driven to solve complex problems; genuinely curious about people and organizations.

  • Strong project management capabilities; able to prioritize and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
