Position Overview – The Senior Property Management Executive will be responsible for directing the property management team and ensuring the financial and operational excellence of the assigned properties. This role requires a strong financial acumen, with a focus on financial oversight and reporting in collaboration with the accounting department and property ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between tenants, property owners, and institutional stakeholders.
  • Formulate and manage comprehensive property budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy in expense and capital expenditure projections.
  • Generate monthly financial reports, including accruals and variance analyses.
  • Present business performance results to executive leadership.
  • Monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and cost-effectiveness.
  • Review and validate lease agreements and deal summaries.
  • Collaborate with ownership and accounting teams to guarantee compliance with contractual obligations and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee tenant and capital improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage lease administration, including negotiations, collections, and addressing defaults.
  • Enforce lease terms and conditions, including representing the company in legal proceedings as necessary.
  • Lead and develop the property management team, including recruitment and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with property management policies, industry regulations, and governmental directives.
  • Implement a thorough inspection process for properties, conducting regular assessments to uphold best practices.
  • Provide strategic leadership in property management through the development and execution of policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in commercial property management, preferably with Class A properties.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience is essential.
  • Possession of a California Real Estate License and RPA or CPM designations is required.
  • Strong financial knowledge and understanding of building operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and commercial real estate software such as Yardi, MRI, and Timberline.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
