We are currently in search of an experienced Executive Recruiting Researcher to join our agile and high-performing team.

As a Senior Executive Recruiting Researcher at Socotra, Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping our executive recruitment strategies and in building a premier leadership team. Your role will involve identifying and engaging with exceptional executive candidates who possess the requisite skills, experience, and leadership qualities to propel our organization forward. You will act as a brand ambassador for Socotra, often being the initial point of contact for prospective candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate Identification and Engagement:

  • Perform comprehensive talent and market analysis for open Executive-level roles.
  • Employ advanced sourcing techniques, including in-depth web searches, industry networking events, and executive connections, to identify and engage senior-level candidates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-caliber, passive candidates through tailored outreach and communication.
  • Engage with underrepresented candidates through personalized outreach efforts.

Collaboration with Recruiters:

  • Work closely with the executive recruiting team to align on sourcing strategies.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sourcing team members, offering coaching in executive search methodologies.

Candidate Assessment:

  • Conduct preliminary assessments of candidates, evaluating their qualifications, motivations, and cultural alignment.
  • Prepare comprehensive written evaluations for review by Hiring Leaders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Executive Hiring Leaders, offering insightful candidate profiles and recommendations during regular meetings.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze and report on critical metrics related to executive candidate pipelines and sourcing effectiveness.
  • Provide data-driven insights to refine sourcing strategies, particularly for underrepresented candidates.

Strategic Talent Mapping:

  • Lead strategic talent mapping initiatives to forecast future talent needs.
  • Examine market trends, competitor strategies, and industry dynamics to enhance executive recruitment efforts.

Thought Leadership:

  • Stay informed on the latest trends in executive recruiting and share insights within the organization.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative executive talent acquisition strategies.
  • Participate in executive recruiting projects such as succession planning and market research.
Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in executive-level recruiting research, with a proven track record of sourcing senior executives.
  • In-depth knowledge of executive search methodologies and sourcing techniques.
  • Exceptional skills in utilizing advanced tools for talent identification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage and influence senior-level candidates.
  • Experience in executive-facing presentations and communications.
  • Self-motivated and accountable for managing the candidate pipeline effectively.
  • Creative problem solver, especially in ambiguous situations.
  • Passionate about research and genuinely interested in people and organizations.
