Job Summary

As a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician with MDU Construction Services Group, Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems and equipment meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough testing and inspection of fire protection systems and equipment to ensure compliance with laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Verify system installations to ensure they meet design specifications and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair fire sprinkler systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide accurate inspection reports and documentation of findings, including recommendations for corrective action.
  • Coordinate with clients and service personnel to ensure timely completion of work and effective communication.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience in testing and maintenance of fire protection systems.
  • Union eligibility, membership, or ability to join Local Union 669 prior to job offer.
  • NICET Level II certification preferred.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
